A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Safeguarding Against Future Pandemics
A call to action to bring stakeholders together for a collective response across sectors affected by insufficient pandemic preparedness
The Global Biosecurity Summit will contributes to a biosecure world by raising awareness of our common challenge and engaging relevant stakeholders across sectors to activate a global, coordinated response and a more resilient future.
The Summit is in collaboration with Geneva Health Forum and is the spearhead event to establish the Global Biosecurity Network. The network convenes stakeholders from business, public sector, academia and civil society to address pandemic preparedness solutions.
Through a series of events, including webinars to set the scene for the inaugural event in Geneva, Switzerland, on 2 November 2022, the Global Biosecurity Summit brings together experts across a wide array of sectors to address pandemic preparedness with a new approach, activating individual strengths of a diversified field of expertise.
